Tax Issues and the Years 2008 thru 2010

This one hour presentation is titled “Taxes Issues and the Years 2008 thru 2010”

Since 2001, the tax world has been a spinning top with taxpayers, tax advisors, and even the IRS trying to grapple with the signing of one major legislative act after another. In fact, there have been more than 10 acts signed into law during these 6 years. The question that most of us face in 2007 thru 2010 is: What planning can or should I do? Therefore, the purpose of this one hour session is to solve this problem, answer all your burning questions, and get a free meal. You gotta love it.

These laws affect individuals in a variety of ways, including but not limited to income tax rates, deductions, retirement plans, tax credits and so forth. As we all appreciate, some of the tax provisions became effective in 2001, some in 2002, some in 2003, some revert back in 2004, some revert back in 2005, some revert back in later years, some have been extended for 2 additional years and then again extended for 2 additional years and some have been made permanent while others are due to revert back to pre EGTRRA in 2010. Yep, one hour should cover it all.
